The Ekinex cloud now offers the possibility to securely connect via VPN to Delégo Server and the home network where it is installed, for remote commissioning of KNX devices and/or diagnosis of problems on the KNX installation. The service has no licence costs or recurring fees.

Remote maintenance

Thanks to the possibility of exposing individual IP addresses or entire subnets via VPN connection, in addition to the Delégo server itself, it is also possible to remotely configure IP-based devices such as DICOs, DELÉGO PANEL or third-party devices.

Easy to install

The configuration of the VPN cloud can be done entirely in Delégo Server. Ekinex Cloud VPN works with all internet providers, without the need for external tools or additional settings in the router.

Full integration into the Delègo App

The final user receives connection requests directly on the smartphone from the System Integrator and grants VPN access directly from the Delégo app. The same app allows the installer to start and stop the VPN when remote maintenance is required.

Security at the highest level

Each VPN uses the latest encryption technology and runs in a dedicated 'sandbox' on the Ekinex Cloud, to fixically prevent any intrusion.

Automatic shutdown

For maximum security, the VPN automatically stops after 2 hours. The System Integrator can reactivate it via the Delégo app.

Delégo Server now fully supports the KNX Data Secure standard and thus enables the display and control of secure KNX devices.

The KNX communication driver has been completely redesigned, integrating the official Falcon libraries, on which ETS is also based

Necessary for secure projects, the new library can be downloaded from the ETS online catalogue and is also useful in standard applications as a 'placeholder' for the server

Key holder import from ETS project

Enables Delégo Server to communicate with all secure devices in the system in a single operation

Delégo Server can now import the KNXPROJ file, which contains all project information in addition to the OPC format.

This greatly simplifies the import process, as all coding and flags are contained in the imported file and therefore no longer need to be entered manually.

Automatic creation of floors and rooms

Starting with the ETS "Building" view, Delégo Server is already able to automatically configure navigation by floors and rooms. In future versions, this import procedure will also create the view widgets, allowing the system integrator to speed up the configuration process considerably.

Delégo Server can automatically save its configuration database on the Ekinex Cloud on a daily basis. This function allows complete project recovery in the event of a failure.

Restore Points

Backups are performed automatically in the background every day, but can also be saved manually, e.g. after a project update by the system integrator.

Up to 2 manual restore points can be saved to the Ekinex Cloud free of charge, in addition to the automatic backup.

The configuration files saved on the Ekinex Cloud can be used to restore the project to a new Delégo.

It is now possible to establish connections between widgets and objects, belonging to the different supported technologies, with an easy-to-use visual editor based on blocks and arrows.

Event-driven automations

Connections are a visual representation of the relations between widgets in the project, which determine an automatic action on an object (the destination) with a given value, whenever the state of another object (the source) changes.

More possibilities in Advanced Functions

New elements have been added to the Advanced Functions menu to enhance connections with combinatorial logic (AND, OR, NOT), mathematical operators, comparison functions and integrators.

From this version, Delégo Server can be reached at the predefined address delego.local, making installation and access immediate and intuitive.

Ready to use

The Delègo Server now starts up in DHCP mode for easy configuration.

It is now possible to add one or more links to external web pages or third-party apps to Delégo pages.

Links can be placed directly in the navigation menu or even in individual rooms.

From this version, Delégo integrates a scalable and flexible hospitality solution suitable for a wide range of applications, from unmanned B&Bs to large hotels and commercial buildings.

Multi-technology

Delégo can manage several access control devices, based on the KNX standard or the IP network, such as our DICO video intercom and the new multifunctional ACCÉDO KEY.

Simplified guest management

A dedicated area in the Delégo app allows the entry of new guests, specifying for each the period of stay and the relevant permits. A welcome e-mail is automatically sent to guests with instructions for autonomous access.

Access technologies

Users can enter a Delégo-protected building by entering a PIN, showing a QR code or presenting an RFID badge to any of the installed DICO and ACCÉDO KEY devices. Third-party KNX numeric keypads are also supported.

Virtual Room Presence

The presence of people in the room can be calculated by Delègo using a special algorithm, based on the sequence of signals collected from several sensors such as presence detectors and door contact.

Integration with PMS Oracle Micros Opera

Check-in, check-out and room management can now be performed directly from Oracle Micros Opera thanks to the PMS integration available as an additional licence in Delègo.
