Application context

This residential project is a timeless flat located in the city centre of Prague. It is characterised by a modern style in which warm colours prevail in the furnishings, making the environment cosy and pleasant.

Customer requests

The customer wanted solutions that made home automation simple, intuitive and aesthetically accurate, and sought a wide range of colours and materials. The aim was to find wall-mounted products with LED backlighting to show which function was active.

Ekinex solutions

For this project, the FF Series switches, ‘NF version with thermostat function in Fenix NTM finish, were chosen. The choice of this material was based on the search for a soft touch, fingerprint and scratch resistant surface that could retain its original qualities despite daily use.

The automation of the smart home is complete thanks to the integration of Ekinex KNX and Control4 products: from heating, shading (external and internal), cooling, video entry, security, lighting and integrated multi-room audio-video. For example, in the children's room, when the good night button is pressed, the blinds and curtains are lowered, the ambient lighting is switched on at 10% intensity for 5 minutes, the audio system plays bedtime stories and, after 15 minutes, everything is switched off so that the children can relax peacefully.
