Villa Oasis

Application context

This project reinterprets living as a harmonious balance between relaxation and sophisticated design. Conceived as a haven of tranquillity, it combines water features, elegant palm trees and lush tropical vegetation, all integrated into contemporary architecture with clean lines. The indoor and outdoor spaces are carefully designed to enhance the view of Langebaan Lagoon, creating a natural continuity between the built environment and the surrounding landscape. The result is an intimate and relaxing space that combines understated elegance with a strong connection to nature.

Client’s requirements

Villa Oasis is the first home that the co-founder of BOSS Architects, the firm behind the project, has designed for himself: a deeply personal project, shaped by years of architectural reflection and lived experience. The intention was simple: to create a daily retreat. Surrounded by waterfalls, lush tropical landscape and a breathtaking view of the lagoon, the house has been carefully designed to respond intuitively to light, wind and privacy. The spaces open and close naturally throughout the day, allowing the environment to guide the way the house is lived in.

Ekinex Solutions

Various Ekinex solutions have been incorporated into the residence to ensure full building automation. In particular, the Under Bed Lift TV system was chosen for the bedroom to maintain an elegant and uncluttered space. For complete control of functions, the Delégo Panel 8" has been installed, whilst for access control, the Dico video door entry system has been installed outside. Finally, the wall-mounted controls from the FF series and 71 series integrate perfectly into the architecture, reinforcing a sense of understated luxury where every element serves a purpose and nothing feels forced.
