The Application Context

In the heart of the shopping district in Sofia, Bulgaria, the new Bang & Olufsen store and showroom was recently opened. An environment studied in detail where to bring the clients the B&O experience and feel the magic of the audio that distinguishes the products of the Danish company. Poetry, synthesis and excellence are the values that Bang & Olufsen intends to convey in its products and in its stores. It is in this context that the 'NF series pushbuttons and Ekinex temperature control and regulation solutions are inserted: perfect harmony between technology and design.

The Client's Requests

In addition to the aesthetic appearance of its wall mount products, Ekinex products have been chosen for the technical characteristics of the panel products so that store staff can control and manage the lights comfortably and intuitively and regulate the temperature of the environment both in summer and winter.

Ekinex Solutions

The system, completely based on the KNX standard, relies on two room temperature controller EP2 (EK-EP2-TP) with backlight LCD display for temperature measurement and a Touch&See display with 2-fold pushbutton EF2 (EK-EF2-TP) to manage the dimming of lighting fixtures and drive curtain and roller shutter thanks to a 16-fold binary output/8-fold blind actuator FF1 (EK-FF1-TP) . To monitor the parameters, it has been used the 8-fold binary input (EK-CA1-TP).

For the finishes the choice is gone to metal and FENIX NTM in shades of grey, brass and carbon well inserted in the aesthetic line designed for the entire showroom.
